I invite you to close your eyes, and picture sitting right in front of you, your best friend. And imagine they are smiling a big beautiful smile right at you. And you can tell that it’s a real smile because you can see it in their eyes, the way their eyes are twinkling at you.

Now I invite you to imagine that you are both laughing about something really silly-- your favorite inside joke, or a tv show, or whatever-- it could even be something that no one else in the whole world would think was funny, but just imagine losing it with your dear friend. Like you just can’t stop laughing. Imagine the sound of their laugh as you picture this moment with your friend.

Now I invite you to notice whatever feelings might be coming up at this moment, as you picture your dear friend.
