SYNOPSIS

TA13OO is a dark, deep album on which Denzel goes out of the box and experiments with his sound: metal-trap on SUMO | ZUMO, THE BLACKEST BALOON | THE 13LACKEST 13ALOON, old-style hip-hop on SIRENS | ZIRENZ, and beautiful melodies on BLACK BALOONS | 13LACK 13ALOONS, and TA13OO | TA13OO. The project follows highly critically acclaimed album, Imperial, the first project on which Curry did not fail to impress with trying nеw sounds, although TA13OO does really stick out of the rappеr's discography.

It takes you on a trip from the beauty of the TABOO | TA13OO, the song after the album, to the streets filled with drug dealers and people that live just by money on the albums lead singles, PERCS | PERCZ and SUMO | ZUMO, aswell as CASH MANIAC | CASH MANIAC where Denzel is joined by R&B vocalist, Nyygerya, it shows you the absurdity of music labels treating their people like slaves on CLOUT COBAIN | CLOUT CO13A1N, talks about police brutality on SIRENS | ZIRENZ which also features two of the best verses on the album, aswell as a chorus with Billie Eilish's vocals, creating the best track on the album.

And TA13OO doesn't lack conceptuality or originality either with the track names being split up into two different stylisations (example: SWITCH IT UP | ZWITCH 1T UP) with the first part of the name being normal, and the second part being the letter S changed to Z, B changed to 13, and I changed into 1, which is a reference and paying homage to Denzel's group that he consisted in early at the time of his career, RVIDXR CLVN. The album is also split into three parts, Light, Gray, and Dark, reflecting Denzel's mind and what he himself is going through.
The album also features amazing album visuals for BLACK BALOONS, CLOUT COBAIN, and VENGEANCE, telling a story about Denzel's mental health and showing different sides of him due to the three tracks (for which Denzel recorded visuals) being on different sides of the album.

In conclusion, I'd have to say that this is an amazing album filled with experimenting and succeeding in leaning new sound.
