Tearing down the frost giants
That have planted the seed of a god in me
The deity has torn my soul apart
And left me shriveling in the dark
I have explored the extent of this hermit’s life
The stalactites in these shimmering caverns
Speak to me in hundreds of voices
In this isolation
I meet my companions
Anger, hatred
And the strongest of them all, envy
As I swallow them
One by one
I feel myself transforming
Into a diseased rat
So I cook thе rat on a skewer
Eat it for all that it’s worth
And regurgitatе it
All that’s left, ice-cold focus
Now I’ve emerged
Alone in the clouds
Fed by nutrients
That only I have tasted
That have planted the seed of a god in me
The deity has torn my soul apart
And left me shriveling in the dark
I have explored the extent of this hermit’s life
The stalactites in these shimmering caverns
Speak to me in hundreds of voices
In this isolation
I meet my companions
Anger, hatred
And the strongest of them all, envy
As I swallow them
One by one
I feel myself transforming
Into a diseased rat
So I cook thе rat on a skewer
Eat it for all that it’s worth
And regurgitatе it
All that’s left, ice-cold focus
Now I’ve emerged
Alone in the clouds
Fed by nutrients
That only I have tasted
