today I read "making good habits, breaking bad habits" by Joyce Meyer. this book talks about focusing on making better choices and making it a habit. it talks about getting rid of bad habits such as lip and nail biting, eating when bored, shopping as entertainment, etc. it helps me because I myself have small habits I would like to get rid of. to me this book is a great guide in life.

today's chapter was about procrastination. everybody always procrastinates about a lot of things and sometimes it ends up being a big problem. you can procrastinate about almost anything and you even notice that you're procrastinating. to me that's considered a very bad habit. one thing that this chapter also talks about is the GOD habit. the god habit is basically having the habit of being addicted to god. most people and I myself used to go to god only when I needed something. but that's not right..

today's chapter talks about having the habit of being decisive. people tend to think before speaking and then end up making a mistake. if you make spiritual decisions, that means that you have decided to put god first. being indecisive can make you feel guilty.

today's chapter talks about making healthy habits. it basically talks about when you make more good habits, all or most of the bad habits start to disappear.
people usually don't know what making healthy habits mean. but it just means making choices that won't affect you later on in life. its hard to just start getting rid of those unpleasent habits but soon you'll get into another habit and this time it will be good. then you'll feel better.

today's chapter was about having respect for yourself. i know at times people begin to "give up" and start to insult themselves because something happened that upset them. but, in order to be truly happy, you must have patience and self-respect so that god can work on you and send you blessings.
